💡 Professional Tips for ATV Wheel Hub Install:
Clean the Axle Splines: Before installing the new hubs, use a wire brush to clean any rust or debris from the rear axle splines. This ensures a smooth fit and prevents premature wear.
Use Anti-Seize: Apply a light coat of Anti-Seize Lubricant to the axle splines before sliding on the new hubs. This makes future removal much easier, especially if you ride in wet or muddy conditions.
Torque the Axle Nut: Always use a torque wrench to tighten the axle nut to the manufacturer's recommended specs. A loose nut can cause the splines to strip, while over-tightening can damage the bearings.
Check for Play: After installation, grab the wheel and try to shake it. There should be zero play. If you feel movement, re-check the tightness of the axle nut and the condition of your axle.
