💡 Professional Tips for ATV Wheel Hub Install:

  • Clean the Axle Splines: Before installing the new hubs, use a wire brush to clean any rust or debris from the rear axle splines. This ensures a smooth fit and prevents premature wear.

  • Use Anti-Seize: Apply a light coat of Anti-Seize Lubricant to the axle splines before sliding on the new hubs. This makes future removal much easier, especially if you ride in wet or muddy conditions.

  • Torque the Axle Nut: Always use a torque wrench to tighten the axle nut to the manufacturer's recommended specs. A loose nut can cause the splines to strip, while over-tightening can damage the bearings.

  • Check for Play: After installation, grab the wheel and try to shake it. There should be zero play. If you feel movement, re-check the tightness of the axle nut and the condition of your axle.
