Installation Tips:

O-Ring Inspection: Ensure the O-ring seal is properly seated and lubricated before installation. A faulty seal can cause the oil pump to suck in air, leading to critical low oil pressure and engine damage.

Deep Clean the Oil Pan: Thoroughly clean the bottom of the oil pan to remove any metal shavings or old gasket debris. This prevents the new pickup screen from getting clogged immediately.

Limit Gasket Sealer: Use a thin, consistent bead of sealant on the oil pan. Excessive RTV silicone can break off inside the engine and block the oil pickup tube.

Prime the System: After installation, we recommend priming the oil pump before the first start-up to ensure immediate oil circulation and avoid "dry start" wear.
